Update 06/04/2010 - As you can tell - May was soooo busy, I completely missed adding a new 2 cents to the website! The Barrel Racing Mentoring Program is still going strong and I am getting a lot of positive feedback. 

I have been fighting the weather to leg up horses, just like everyone else. My horses were in Michigan for a while - then they were back in Oklahoma and recently came back to Michigan in the middle of May.  I will be hitting some IPRA rodeos in June and working on filling my hauling schedule.

Update 04/25/2010 - The Barrel Racing Mentoring Program is in FULL SWING! Mentors have been mentoring and Mentees have been learning.  The feed back I have been receiving is GREAT! I am tickled that I am the creator of this program and a part of it.  The reward for work well done is the opportunity to do more and I am busy, busy!  LOVE IT!

My return to Michigan has been a struggle finding a permanent location to work out of and train, but we are doing well and staying busy in spite of this speed bump slowing us down.  As a result, we are working from TWO LOCATIONS!  We are still established near Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and working out of Hudsonville, Michigan. 

Since the move back to Michigan I have taken this time to get back to some of my "roots" which include HORSE POWER & CHROME of a different kind!!  I have been working with DMX Motorsports and I am also a fan of Heavy Metal Customs.  Check them out!

Update 03/12/2010 - WOW! Can we come up with anymore ideas that will benefit the barrel racing community?  To add to our programs and give back to the barrel racers - we have now created the Barrel Racing Mentors and Mentees Program. Mentoring programs are utilized in so many different areas - corporate, other professional sports, etc. and barrel racers are no different - we need mentoring too.  Learning is a never ending process and sharing can benefit both mentor and mentee.  This is kind of our "No barrel racer left behind" or "pay it forward" type of program.  I am really looking forward to this program taking off.

Update 02/11/2010 - The beginning of 2010 has been super busy for us and I do not see things slowing down in the near future.  We started offering the Marketing Program to the public in November, 2009 and so far it has been a hit and a success. 

We are currently working on launching a "sister" website to BarrelhorseCentral.com that is BarrelHorsesWanted.com - on this new site you will be able to place "Barrel Horses Wanted" ads for FREE and Sellers will have an opportunity to place their Barrel Horses For Sale ads for a fee. Our goal is to have the website live by the end of February.

We are also working on our 2010 Barrel Racing / Pole Bending Clinic Schedule.  The first one is scheduled to take place in Buckingham, Illinois on April 10th and 11th.  Contact us today if you are interested in "Hosting" a Clinic or if you would like to schedule a "personalized" clinic a/k/a "Boot Camp" at our new location in Michigan.

Update 01/03/2010 - The new year is here and we have the continuation of our old programs (Brokering Barrel Horses, Training Barrel Horses and giving new barrel horse competitors lessons) in addition to our new Marketing Program.  BarrelHorseCentral utilizes a very personal approach with each client to meet each client's individual needs. 

The "Wanted" Form has now been revised and a "Trade" Form created to allow you to provide information about your potential trade in barrel horse as well as provide information for you to "Custom Order" that next winner.  These forms go hand in hand with all of our BarrelHorseCentral Programs.

I have taken advantage of this cold winter and focused on updates to the website, our forms, and creating a "Fan Page" for BarrelHorseCentral.com on Facebook.  I have really enjoyed the immediate feedback and comments on new horses being added into our Marketing and Consignment Programs.  Pretty soon I will need to get back out there riding to get ready for some barrel races in late January and early February. I am starting to suffer some withdrawals, but this weather has just been TOO COLD!

Update 12/01/2009 - Sure, we have barrel horses for sale in Oklahoma, but we also provide a service nationwide with our new marketing package that is offered to the public.  People ask me how I started brokering barrel horses, but that is not how my business started - this business has evolved into what it is today and will continue to evolve to meet barrel racer's needs. 

I started by owning my own stallions and broodmares then raising and training my own barrel horses.  Then I started taking outside/consignment horses to sell and so on and so on.  People have asked me to advertise their barrel horses for years and I did not offer that service to the public - UNTIL NOW!
